I am happy to see the story of Goldigony getting to know Spike is continuing. It would appear that Goldy has been at the school for awhile and, very likely, has gone through many roomates before Princess Celestia and Princess Twilight decided that the two should meet.

Given how it seems that Goldy is struggling with her studies, I wonder if getting Spike to be back in diapers was a way to help her feel better about still needing them? Celestia can only do so much given all her responsibilities and the caretakers at the school can only do so much, too. However, to learn and grow, a young dragon, like Goldy, needs some creature who can be there for her far more frequently than what Celestia and any caretaker could reasonably do. So, with Spike, she will be sharing a room with some creature who can help her feel more welcome, accepted, and less alone in the world.

There is really a lot I can think of when considering how Spike was brought in to help Goldy. I truly enjoy how your comic is showing us how their friendship began while also building on the story that makes the pair of dragons special.

Correct. Goldigony's been for a long time in the Magic Kindergarten. Instead of what Celestia did with Spike, Goldigony was sent to the Magic Kindergarten to integrate into pony society, but it hasn't worked well, and yes, she has had a lot of roomies who didn't work, maybe Spike is going to be the solution now that Twilight found a good chance to bring him there.
