a D&D character portrait for a dear old friend of mine!!
Reedmace comes from a fictionalized land that's very Slavic inspired, and her design is based much off of my friend's cute little Ukrainian doll. She's a soft and gentle thing who practices magic and keeps her books at her side.
I'm not really a cat artist and I feel like you can tell by looking at this, but none the less, this was very fun!! I let myself keep some very Cat Qualities in this character, such as the widdle bitty paws :3c
I'm still a bit rusty with digital portrait work, so i kept this one fairly light. I think my ideal would be to offer primarily linework with basic colour while I make myself more comfortable with heavy shading and things again.
I'm not formally open for commissions and I still may not be for some time; I've got a lot of commercial work to finish before I can do more casual work. but boy oh boy do I just wanna make ref sheets and draw furries!! aaarrrghh!!!
also whoops, sometimes you make a profile with the intent to upload to it but then don't produce anything for more than a month. yikes!! that's not how you build a community!
