I’m reminded of a joke in “Ed Edd n Eddy” in which Rolf squeezed lemon juice into his eyes to see the sprites during the Valentines Day special. Maybe Mace might try temporarily blinding himself like that to keep the Nightmare from coming after him? A possible suggestion, maybe? I dunno, really.
