In case you haven't read any of the Percy Jackson books, Nico is a child of Hades and has the ability to summon skeletons. Hope that clears things up.
Speaking of which, the skeletons were tough to draw. I initially just...drew them, then I later Googled images of human skeletons and re-drew them accordingly.
