Talismans are closer to charms that represent notable characters of change and corruption throughout the multiverse. there's over 25 of them in game, and some are related to their origin story, while some are sneaky lore bits about the Outlands.
This talisman is of Sasha, a Reshiram who looks over a library of the Outlands. One filled with thousands of books.. thousands.. oops, more like ad infinitum!
Talismans in game give stat bonuses to the anchor character you play as.
For this one: it increases the base focus meter to 150 instead of 100. (Focus is similar to mana, but also represents your anchor character's hp as well)
there's 5 types of talismans, however they don't serve a direct function by that alone:
Lust - Those that act more on instinct; spreads autonomously, practically hypnotically.
Chaos - up for anything, almost random and without reason. However this tends to lean towards more omnipotent beings of origin in representation.
Balance - Those that manage to not let corruption affect their lives too much. While they may fall to lust, the power doesn't spiral out of control.
Focus - those that have great control over their corruptive properties. those on these charms tend to use their knowledge for educating purposes or being the masterminds of a 'plot'.
Kinky - those that are specialists in the way they use their corruptive powers. Easiest way to put it. Creative and dominating. :3
To be more direct, a lot of the charms are references to characters in the gallery of
chaosthesalamander's stories, but leaning only towards those in contact with lust or corruption. Characters like Order or Life aren't made as talismans, as they are made help new and veteran anchors.
Some say if you use a charm too long, you may become the character in it. :0c
Just a little rumor~.
