A seasoned Valbaran hunter rests in front of a dense forest. I wanted to explore what an ancient, tribal Valbaran would be like. Sorta like Neolithic culture to us. Body paints (chalk and red ochre) and dyes would be within the realm of reason for them. Having fast, pack-hunting ambush predators as ancestors already makes them perfect hunters. Tool knowledge and larger tribal culture no doubt helped a lot.
I feel good about this one, especially considering the amount of time spent fixing every little mistake. This is also my first pass at a background; it looks busy and haphazard, I know. The depth I tried to create didn't really materialize.
