He's acting out of character, though I have to admit, I like that he's sticking up for the dragon, even though he could have walked right past it like Zudrec told him to do. But Cobby has a good heart, and he doesn't like violence against the weak. I can just feel Zudrec in the background going, “Oh what a fool you are...” Though in the version where they're all actors, he's probably proud of his husband.
