Originally a possum, but want to expand his story inspired by Cody from Zoru.
This chonky racoon who came back from the dead after getting run over by an industrial truck. With "Perma-tread" on his chest to prove it. Now seeks revenge as a nocturnally smug predator that hunts down folks to fuel his big, bloated belly. Like a mix of a zombie/vampire or "Zompire" as he calls it. Rather than sucking blood and eating brains, he straight up eats people WHOLE to have the whole combo. All as a great prize for him to sustain his mass! Who he could be dangerous if he bothers/bullies criminals, especially if hungry That and having a "Dead end" sign he "found" as a weapon of choice in rundown neighborhoods.Mostly being the role of the nightshift as watching the store of the gas station convenience store. With signs reading "Raccoon on duty, get eaten at your own risk" Or "Beware of raccoon". Who Shawn is really good close buds with his coworker Bucky (AKA Big Reid). Even going out on "patrol" to get some good baddies to bite down as heroes of the night with Big Reid. So, let's take a look at Shawn Whittaker AKA: "Roadkill".

Bio:
Before Rein offered a job at the Gas station, Shawn was a drifting street thief that looked after his own needs and himself only. But after being run over by a Truck, he was back from the dead by Dr 3715's reanimated serum to see if he could revitalize organisms. That and hooked Shawns body up to an "Autojektor", it revitalizes the racoon after his clinical death. But 3715 was left Shawn since he didn't want to miss his flight back home and moved on to something else as leaving Shawn behind. Never knowing if the test worked...It did. With the side effect of Shawn having immunity to external pain with added mass and strength, darken his fur, and a higher prey drive to eat living blood and meat.
While at the same time, looking at his life, Shawn started to be humbler as seeing how fragile life is. Realizing seeing innocent lives are cut short from careless people after that even cost his life that stings him after he went though. While being moral at the same time to have a change of heart to stand up for everyone he can. Mostly Hunting down and reminding folks that no matter how powerful people are, nobody chooses the fate of others. Like the cruel selfish people who didn’t care about the lives they have to cut short to achieve their goals. As going by the new name “RoadKill” Due to his intentions of smacking and even gobbling up villains or rotten people who abuse their powers over others. All In his small community of Appalachia. At the end of the day night, Roadkill is motivated by his insecurities (and having the perma treads to prove it). The beast who experienced death only to come back to life, it's a challenging thing to cope with. While he tries to prove himself and promises to protect those who won’t go into the same fate as him. Like a code of honor of what can do as a hero, even if his actions are Monstrous to some. He has his shared rejection and alienation, but he didn’t care of the mask he was given. He gets use to it and moves on with his life. Even some merciless rejection after the things he did, and the villains he got rid of, he still cares to do the right thing in his own way. Along with this championship and even understanding coworker friend Bucky Reid (AKA: “Big Reid”) as being heroes of the night to make their roadside town a safer place.
Personality:
Even with his cocky and grim outlook/appearance, Shawn/RoadKill is surprisingly moral. While at the same befriending and accepting of others all in a fun, witty and jokester demeanor. But with a bit of dark humor mixed in. However, he can be revengeful and envious of wealthy or people who abuse their powers over the innocent. Leading him to plow and running over them as if there was nothing as wasting their lives on stupid risks that make his blood boil. Especially after his traumatic event of being run over. Succumbing to jealousy takes hold coming from his lowlife status as deep down wanting a better life. While at the same time he could be tolerable and forgiving. Especially if they understood where he came from in his rural background. Granted gulping down prey down to send to his “ fat tank” was a bit far to sustain his predatorial needs to feed, but heart in the right place. Especially his close friend with his hound Bucky (Big Reid) as seeing the good in the fat raccoon. Who together become the "Fat boys" of Appalachia, like a superhero duo protecting the lives and bring justice in their own way.
