Rezenaa [OLD] — A Collage of Goofily Proportioned Transfor
Be warned that from this point on, the scraps may become weirder and more questionable. If something feels too wrong for the general category, please let me know!
Rezenaa
Amother collage of the forms and half-transformations of Rezenaa, this time originating from multiple different canvases rather than one. These ones standardized a new outfit for Rezenaa, acting as her shapeshifting attire.
There were no drawings of Rezenaa normally in this new attire, as far as I could find. So instead I drew a sketch at the bottom left representing her in the old design. She looks so serene compared to the mid-shapeshifts, which almost each show her in complete agony.
The following shapeshifts are present in this collage:
• Snake
• Snivy (Pokémon)
• Servine (Pokémon)
• Seahorse
• Dolphin
• Manta Ray
• Tartigrade
• Turtle
• Cat
• Mouse
• Bee
• Mosquito
• Bird (Chicken I think)
• Giraffe
• Lizard Doggo (Satisfactory)
• Ferret
• Flatworm...
Some of these transformation had a bit of context ripped away from them putting it in this collage. For example, the fuller transformation into a seahorse—in the top left—had a background resembling a sink. This was so she could breath, but also because it was indicated that she started transforming at her college, with not many other options.
The bee sketch was looking up pictures of bee mouths. I've made it so shapeshifting activates with the mind, so thinking too much about certain species will cause the user to transform without knowing.
You can see the altering of bone structures again on the turtle transformation, where her spinal cord kind of forms itself into a shell. Very interesting.
Also the bird... I don't know why she is built like that in the bird form. Heavily referencing the bones of a chicken without knowledge of how their skin wraps around the skeleton is probably the main reason, though. But dear cod it haunts me in weird ways. There was also a rendered version of her in that form, but I decided to only show the sketch as I though the render was too much.
Funny story: ignoring the copious amounts of weirdly placed feet and slobber, as I already talked about that in the previous post. The way which I tried to have some patches of Rezenaa more shapeshifted than the rest was inspired by a transformation artist known as Edmol. They have a unique style, and tend to blend complete human and complete animal proportions together to create one incredible piece. This was trying to be replicated, but I didn't apply it well.
