naw they are fine. it's just on top. There's a follow up piece where they are themselves they just got behavior stuff put in their noggin so they CAN actually do wildlife survival stuff. Granted generally for the manatear sort of logic if we are using that here, they could be buried under the script until they recover a bit.
I usually imagine that you need at least a bit of new instincts in order to not be a complete klutz, but overlays with more elaborate new-species-appropriate behaviour that don't permanently overwrite the original personality is *chef's kiss*. Especially if once you get the hang of it you have control over how much it shows!
