Being the coach of a university for both macros and micros, Burton sure has his work cut out for him when it comes to making exercises for his classes. Luckily for them though, he is a rather creative one when it comes to thinking up ideas for both groups. One of his favorites that he came up with to train the little ones is his what he calls: "Machoke Mountain", but the students give it the nickname: "Maynard Mountain".
In the exercise, he challenges his micro students to climb the soles of his feet, starting from his heels and eventually ending up by his toes. The exercise is made ever more challenging by having them climb his soles after he made sure they were freshly removed from his shoes and socks. This meant the students would have to battle his foot sweat which threatened to wash them away or make the surface of his sole too slippery. However, his sweat could also be refreshing should you get thirsty as you climb (and Burton will give bonus points if he feels you licking). If Burton is feeling extra playful, sometimes he'll have his toes become the final obstacle, wiggling and flexing them to squeeze students that are just about to make it to the finish line. The exercise finishes when all students make it to the top (the first student to reach the top receives the highest grade), which he then gives them all a congratulatory squeeze between his toes before setting his foot down flat on the ground to allow everyone to get off.
Make sure you disembark when he puts his foot down! Otherwise you'll be spending the rest of your day keeping his foot company inside his shoe.Why yes, the university he works at has some questionable policies regarding their micro students... how could you tell?
Jokes aside, I commissioned this work from
beagle-bagel a few months ago when he opened commissions. I really wanted to have a piece of my boy Burton having some fun with some micro students, and he truly delivered~Got one more commission of Burton in the works, but after that I'll try to focus on getting some more work of my other characters, as they all deserve more love. Stay tuned as next up on my list of things to post is the chancellor of the university Burton works at~
