Thorn Briarwick is a rather chill and laid back ewe for the most part. However, she is not afraid to stand up for herself and those she sees as a friend. Some find her intimidating, as her frown/neutral expression tends to make her look less approachable. Her home is located in the woods, which is a small cottage. The yard contains sunflowers, rose bushes, a small pumpkin patch, and likely a few other miscellaneous plants.
Although she is willing to help out her friends, Thorn herself tends to have trouble accepting help herself and can be a bit stubborn on budging when it comes to that. In her youth she was not taken seriously about some of her issues, being brushed off as a “cute little sheep” plenty of times. The word “cute” itself has been a bit soured for her, but in certain instances it can be flattering as long as it doesn’t feel condescending.
As a child, she became accustomed to strange/unusual things happening around, something which followed her into adulthood. Thorn has the ability to sense, see, speak, or even summon otherworld entities, typically drawing in their presence. Over time she has figured out how to deal with these creatures regardless if they are malicious or not, which not all of them are. She has taken an interest in the supernatural and just relatively spooky things because of this. Halloween is her favorite holiday, and autumn her favorite season.
She keeps her wool maintained by having most of it trimmed down. Her neck, tail, and top of her head are allowed the most growth. This is done mainly because she finds the wool to be an annoyance if it’s allowed to heavily build up on her body. The wool around her neck is mainly kept thick as a stylistic choice, on top of it helping prevent her being mistaken as a goat, which has happened to her one too many times in her life.
Thorn currently works at Waggers Books & Coffee, which is a book store/coffee shop combo. She enjoys it as it pays well and her boss is friendly and supportive. She mainly works at the register or does stocking and doesn’t work the coffee shop half. Her boss, Baxter, actually has a crush on her, though he’s too nervous to admit it.
