I've been meaning to try drawing Mobian versions of some of my characters for a while now. Well, I finally got around to it, and Becky is first, since I figured she'd be the easiest to adapt to Sonic's world.

This version of Becky is still a mad scientist, and still has a detached head, but her backstory is a bit different. Instead of being naturally modular and just never sticking her head back on after the first time it came off, Mobian!Becky figured out how to do this by reverse engineering the technology that goes into Badniks, to create cybernetics powered by the user's own body. In addition to figuring out how Eggman's robots draw power from living things (and working out a more positive use for that), the life support systems keeping her body and head alive are based off the same system Badniks use to keep the animals powering them in stasis. Besides that, her head has a few gadgets packed into it that aren't on display here.

I'm pretty happy with how Becky herself turned out. The background would probably look better if I'd been able to include the stripy grass, or the checker pattern on the loop-de-loop, but that was more effort than I wanted to put in.
