The Ahzenai on the far left (reddish one) is Valcyon and he's kinda like the guardian of the Ahzen and keeps track of which Ahzenai that leave.

The jist of adoptions is that people have to 'woo' the Ahzenai they want through a story. They must take into account the personality of the Ahzenai but also remain true to their own personality. There items which help one's wooing success. Woos are operated on a slot system/raffle system where better stories are given more slots- therefore have a higher chance of winning. Though the less quality stories can still win- this demonstrates that just because you say everything someone wants you to hear, it doesn't mean they'll like you. xD deep, i know.
