A ref of my husband and I'd character Kiwi and Mr. Apples.
Mr. Apples has little flaps under his head capable of holding food for him to munch on. He has a bad habit of eating things bigger than he can swallow, making Kiwi run around in circles in order to get him to spit out the food. They're both adorable and Mr. Apples is such a derp.

As for how he got his name, Kiwi came up with it. He liked it so it stuck.
