Personal piece connected to my worldbuilding

In Arcandria, where deities still dwell it is forbidden to harm the earth. For whoever pierces it’s skin release the death bringing biles to the surface. It brings pestilence and decay to the creatures of vis and with that solitude to humans. But even when their eyes are open the light doesn’t reach them, they choose to concern themselves with more urgent matters.
