The overcast skies shrouded what would otherwise be a radiant saturday morn akin to a blanket, blinding us
to the sensations of sunlight, a sobering reminder of the mystery that was afoot. The Fox, glass clinking idly
against his claws, glanced over at me with a curiosity that I feared I could not sate without a thorough
investigation first.

"A mouse detective? That's a surefire way for a bunco like yourself to end up in some dame's maw. Why choose
this crooked line of work?" He pried, forgetting who the inquisitive one was supposed to be. Flicking aside a
loose strand of hair, I took another hit from my stogie and addressed the visitor.

"You walk through my door, small as it may be, and ask questions before even introducin' yourself? I think you
and I are gonna get along just fine, gink~"

It was my friend  Richtheking1's birthday not too long ago and he's absolutely in love with all this Art Deco
themed stuff so I thought I'd try my hand at replicatin' the style to surprise him with! This was a real fun art study,
a nice change of pace and I'd love to give it another go at some point to see if I can't concoct some other fun noir
esuqe parodies~!
