The world of Beasts and Humans, #1: “Toran Satorukawa”
The First Character Released “Royal or not…I am, Who I am”Toran Satorukawa is a 16 year old boy, who surprisingly is a hybrid of man and beastfolk (specifically Tiger Beastfolk). Toran is born on November 12th, he was born to Olivia Blanc (human woman) and Tigrisse Satorukawa (Tiger Beastfolk). Given the name Toran, due to tiger names since Toran’s father, Tigrisse Satorukawa comes from a royal line of Tigers who give the surname Tora to their children. Since childhood, Toran idolizes his father as the tiger beastfolk was a warrior well known by many in different kingdoms in the beastfolk lands. So Toran followed in his paws to become a sword wielder, a warrior, like Tigrisse himself.
Toran spends time with his father, practicing duels and enhancing his fighting style. When Toran was 14, he entered arena’s and fought opponents with wins and some losses along the way. During one of his matches, he was challenged by the sky prince, Montival Di’Royale and then during the fight. It was revealed that Toran is a mark bearer, he was the heir of the tiger mark from the first beastfolk that roamed the lands in ancient times. To Monti, he saw the human boy not as an opponent, but as an intriguing creature that had broken generations of tradition where the ancient beast marks that have been passed down by royalty or nobles. The duel ended with a stalemate between the hybrid boy and sky prince.
Toran’s true challenge was being accepted by the 9 known bearers/Royals. Montival Di’Royale the Hawk mark bearer, Aliyah Leona the Lion mark bearer, Mizuno Kawauso the otter mark bearer, Lupin von Lycan the wolf mark bearer, Alistar Arancia the fox mark bearer, Sasaki Nyanko the cat mark bearer, Silver Nezumi the mouse mark bearer, Vipereon Distante the serpent mark bearer, and Arlo Archdragon the dragon mark bearer.
