Juniper and Zeke are nagas from a planet filled with jungles that thrive in those areas and is warm enough to sustain life for most reptiles and other creatures that love big warm spots.
Nagas are almost the dominate species on the planet aside from crocs, aligators, and other species. The nagas on the planet have spread all throughout and built large cities for their people and pure females on this planet are very rare and the most powerful females have divided their wealth and life to almost the 4 corners of the planet and usually breed with other royal nagas to increase their population but there is only so few good nagas left most are huge jerks and only go after ones they find worthy to spread their offspring.
Juniper is a beauty to other species on the planet but the most royal of nagas dont see her beauty and their blind arrogance they go after others but Juniper doesnt let this affect her and goes about her life and always looks towards the positive side of things and has her own place she likes to study certain fruits and other things in her place and makes good food for other species and herself and loves to cook rare and exotic dishes as she learned some of this from someone within one of the royal nagas servants before the one servant left as they were mean to Juniper. But one day Juniper looks up at the stars at night and wants to leave her planet as she thinks she has learned all she can where she is now and wants to see other worlds.
Zeke is a prince in one of the royal families and has always done what he is told by his mother and father. But as he has tried to entice other royal female nagas they dont have an interest in him and has tried almost everything to do so but they refuse him at every turn. When he has heard enough from them he gives up on trying to court the royal nagas but his mother is insistent on not giving up but he tells her what he sees and none of them want him. His mother takes off the mask she has been wearing(figure a speech) and is now more forceful on him getting a mate and sees the look in her eyes and agrees with her temporarily. After their talk he goes to his father alone and sees if he is with his mother and sees that they are not on the same page and decides to let his son leave to find his own path in life since he isnt happy with his mothers choices. Zeke sneaks out at night while his parents are sleeping and sets out on a new adventure and sees he can find a way off the planet and be happy to explore the cosmos as that is one of his dreams to be with someone different from all the nagas on the planet.
