On a night on October 31st, three people stumbled and lost themselves in a gloomy forest, drifting souls as they float like flickering candles. The little souls tried to warn the travellers to turn around and leave the forest, but they pressed onward anyway, even though they were lost. The first person who leads this group is a human named George. The second person is a fox named Isaac and a timid mouse named Oreo (cause he literally tastes like Oreo cookies). The trio are also young, arrogant, and troublemakers. They say they name-call certain groups of people that they don’t like, and they pull pranks on others. Not as much trouble as Oreo, though, but he is very unlucky to not meet a single friend. George has short red hair, is a very quick-tempered young man, and hardly smiles,
“Are you sure you know where you are going, George?” asked Issac.
“Yes, I’m sure,” said George, annoyingly. “Geez, we’ve been here a thousand times before, so how can we be lost in these woods?”
“P-Perhaps we could ask those spirits for some directions?” asked Oreo timidly.
“And stray off the pathway?” barked Issac. “You’ve been reading too many of those books, Oreo. Besides, those stories are exaggerated. There’s no way a spirit like this would lead us into a safe pathway. I say somebody out there is just trying to scare us.”
“But—“
“Enough. We’ll be fine. Don’t be such a chicken. Look, as George said, we’ve done this several times every year. And we get back, we’ll have some fun with that guy at the college.”
“Exactly,” said George. “So quiet down, Oreo. You’re beginning to annoy—“
His words were interrupted as they stumbled into a big, gloomy castle. Very haunted-like with spirits flickering around the place, a blood-stained red moon hovering above the night sky, and the castle is wide and tall, reaching over the red moon.
A chill ran through their spines as the spirits whispered through their ears. Without warning, the gates to the castle opened as it was welcoming them inside.
“George?” shivered Issac. “What is that?”
“It’s only a Halloween party here. Can’t be real.”
“Looks pretty freaking real to me, George!”
“Well… one of you is gonna have to enter first.”
“That won’t be necessary.”
Suddenly, a voice echoed from behind them, and they jumped out of their wits. Turns out it was just an anthropomorphic raccoon with a butler suit behind it. The raccoon is tall, wise, and very well-mannered. He has sharp blue eyes, grey fur around his body, round hips, a long bushy tail, and stripes on his back.
“Pardon my manners, sirs. The name is Silver. I take it that you two are lost?” bowed the mysterious raccoon.
They looked at the raccoon awkwardly and confused. The group paused for a moment as George crossed his arms at the raccoon.
“Uhh, yeah sure. I guess we are a little lost,” admitted Issac.
“I didn’t know there was a castle here this whole time,” said Oreo.
“Of course,” smiled the raccoon. “We don’t have very many visitors here. Don’t worry, I’ll show you the way to the castle. Master will take good care—“
“Enough!” interrupted George, who got annoyed. “We don’t need your help. In fact, we don’t want your invitation here! We want out of here!”
The raccoon only smiled as George walked past him.
“If you insist,” said the raccoon calmly. “However, I would advise against that. May I suggest staying for one night in the castle? We have plenty of food, drink, and a warm bed for you to rest. You must be exhausted coming all the way here.”
“Damn, really? Do we have to pay?” asked Isaac.
“Oh no… That won’t be necessary, sir.”
“That’s a hell of a deal. I’d take it.”
“You know your way out of these woods, raccoon?” asked Oreo.
“Yes. Tell you what. Stay for the night, and I will lead you to the way out.”
George clenched his fist and gritted his teeth. The human is at a disadvantage with his friends, and the woods are too dangerous to be out alone. He can leave anytime he wants, but once again, it’s cold, and he doesn’t know where he is. He thought about following the spirits' words, as they had warned him earlier, but he never really believed in any of them. He turned back around…
“Fine, we’ll stay at your little ‘Halloween’ castle, but you'd better cook up a good meal for us. One move and I’m out. Do you understand?”
The raccoon smiled calmly and bowed. “Of course, sir. Now, this way please.”
The raccoon welcomed them with open arms, and they stepped onto the red carpet of the castle. Even though the castle is all gloomy from the outside, however, from the inside it looks luxurious and rich. The best part about all of this is that they can have all of this for one night.
“Wow, this place is huge,” Isaac said, looking around the place.
“How many rooms are there?” Oreo asked.
The raccoon laughed at the question. “Even I don’t know how many rooms there are, but I’m sure Master will answer that question for you.”
“Who is this master anyway?” George asked with an annoyed expression. “I have a lot to say about him.”
“I’m sure you’ll meet him in the dining room tonight,” replied the raccoon. “As I promised before, there is plenty of food and drink there. I’m sure Master will answer all of your questions.”
George rolled his eyes and went along with this little ‘play’ he thought. He still believes that this whole castle is all nonsense, and he snickered to himself about doing a prank or two on the Master if he gets the chance. Others are awestruck by the place. It was unlike anything they had ever seen before (most likely, as they are third-class citizens).
The raccoon opened a wide and big door with ease, turned over to his ‘guests’ and bowed to them once again.
“This is the dining room. Please take a seat at the table.”
The trio paused for a moment and looked at the table… It was a large and wide table that could serve 50 people. They turned to the raccoon awkwardly…
“Uhh, are you expecting anyone else to come?” asked Oreo. “This table… it’s… uh…”
“Oh, not to worry. There’s plenty for everyone.”
The group didn’t understand what he was talking about… Then all of those spirits from the forest and the castle started gathering in the dining room. Some are whispering with glee, while others are crying in agony like they’re forced to come to this room.
“Yes, yes. Gather around,” the butler said. “Dinner is ready for everyone. Master will be here shortly.”
Then a wide door opened across the room as the trio picked their seats. The group nervously glanced, and Oreo gulped and squeaked.
“So, it’s that time already?” a deep voice echoed through the room.
A black anthropomorphic cat entered the room gracefully. The cat has spiky ears, blood-red eyes, two sharp fangs hanging from its lips, a scar on its eye and a big scar across its belly. The black cat entered the dining room with a wide grin.
“Well, well, I see you’ve brought some new guests into this castle, butler,” he sat down on his throne chair as he drank a red glass of wine.
“Of course, Master. They’ve been well-behaved,” bowed the servant.
“It’s been two years since I’ve had real live guests in this castle. Not that I blame anyone wanting to come here,” the cat chuckled evilly. “Please, please, dig in my friends. You are most welcome here.”
The group stared at the cat with nervous glances and stared at all of that food. From this point on, anything could be cursed, and even the souls are having the food. Those little lights are able to eat for themselves. How odd for such undead beings to be able to still eat. The cat with the red eyes is enjoying his meal, and the butler has his own seat to have a meal. He petted the cat’s spiky red hair as he purred happily. The human, the fox, and the mouse are very uneasy; nevertheless, they picked their meals. The human had mashed potatoes and a turkey leg, the fox had some ham, and the mouse only picked a small piece of cheese.
And then, after what seemed like a few hours, dinner was finished, and they still settled in their seats. The black cat smiled widely and wiped his lips with a napkin.
“Ahh~ Once again, this was great, servant,” said the cat.
“Thank you,” bowed the butler. “I do my very best.”
If the butler has been doing these meals every night, he must’ve had a heck of a talent, as the trio thought to themselves.
“Now, about that dessert,” the cat said with a grin. “We can’t close off this night without at least one.”
Now, all of the flickering lights around them panicked. The trio were confused about this. The butler can only pause, bow, and leave the room. There was a pause… The butler returned with a jar with a soul trapped in it.
“This is the one that tried to escape, Master,” said the butler.
“Ahh, yes. That one has always been troublesome. I specifically said there won’t be any mercy for those who try to deny me.”
The black cat picked up the flame like a tangled mouse as it tried to squirm away. The soul was whimpering as it stared right at the loomy cat.
“Well, my friend. It’s been fun playing with you for a while, but your time is up. Your afterlife is mine now. Farewell.”
With that, he tossed the soul right into his jaws and just swallowed it like a sweet treat. He sighed and pats his round gut that was already full of food. The soul inside was squirming helplessly in there. The trio couldn’t believe what they just saw… The shock and the horror on their expressions. The butler then turned over to the souls.
“THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE WHO DEFY, MASTER!” roared the butler. “NOW, GET BACK TO WORK!”
The souls scrambled and went back to their positions as usual, leaving the trio behind. The raccoon cleared his throat as he turned over to them.
“Apologies for my behaviour. One must take serious disciplinary actions against their servants. Now, we will prepare your beds as promised.”
George had had enough of this and stood up on his chair, feeling frustrated. Isaac tried to get George to calm himself down, but it was too late.
“You two are insane!” he exclaimed. “You think we’re just gonna accept a bed from you monsters?!”
“George…” gasped Isaac.
“No! Look, I appreciate the meal, but I want to leave, NOW!”
The black cat only grinned evilly and calmly as he purred.
“Ahh~ The feisty ones are always the ones that taste good. Don’t you agree?”
He turned his eyes over to the butler and then… a purple aura glowed around the butler as he transformed into a Zoroark. The trio were stunned, and the dining room lights dimmed… The way is shut and there is no escape. Oreo was the first to try to scramble over to the door, but it was locked tight.
“You shouldn’t have behaved that way, human,” said the Zoroark. “Oh well~ I can’t be responsible for what happens now.”
“I’m Chocolate,” said the cat. “Silly name, yes, but you’ll remember it in your last life. I hope you enjoy the afterlife.”
Chocolate stood up from his chair and approached closer to the helpless trio who were about to be his meals. George grabbed a kitchen knife from the table and tried to strike the cat. But the cat pounced first at the human and pinned him down. The human scrambled and tried to reach the knife, but it was no use. The vampire cat was too powerful, and all the Zoroark could do was watch from a distance. Isaac and Oreo screamed for help, but none of their cries would help up to this point. It was terrible (at least for them).
Before George could react with his tantrums, Chocolate’s tongue curled around his lips and opened up his jaws. With his strength, he pulled him forward—towards his mouth.
The human’s eyes widened with shock, his shouts muffled as his breath washed over him as his jaws parted, revealing the slick, eager maw as he started with his head first.
“Ohh yes, you’re very delicious,” he purred as he kept pushing him in with those paws.
GLRP. GLLLLK.
Issac and Oreo watch their leader getting eaten alive by the cat as the Zoroark watches with glee.
George’s legs kicked weakly from the cat’s lips as he kept on resisting. He threw another curse or two, but they were all muffled by the vampire cat’s swallowing.
GLLLRP. GUUUULP.
It’s over. George is trapped inside Chocolate’s belly, and he ate him whole and alive. Inside, George forcibly curled around but was kicking and thrashing inside. Chocolate swayed himself back on his chair and sat down with his meal, struggling inside.
“The more you struggle, the easier it is for me to digest you,” cackled Chocolate. “Be a good little human and melt for me.”
“Master will digest your friend soon enough,” said the Zoroark. “And I’ve got some unfortunate news for you two—you can never leave this castle.”
Finally, the duo screamed in fear and both of them scrambled towards the door. But it was locked, and the little souls could only watch helplessly from afar. All of those lights were once people. They were once living beings, but all of their bodies perished under this ‘monster’ of a cat. Issac tried breaking the door down with a chair from the table, but that didn’t work. Oreo tried going through the window, but it was too high for him. Chocolate and Zoroark only watched them scramble around the room as they tried to find a way out of this hellish dining room. Oreo begged Chocolate not to eat him, and Issac was still banging on the door.
Zoroark finally grew impatient with the fox’s noise, and he pounced on him. His butler brought him over to the hungry vampire cat. However, Oreo slipped past the butler… and escaped.
“I caught the fox, but the mouse was more cunning than I thought,” sighed the Zoroark.
“It doesn’t matter,” said Chocolate calmly. “Let him go. He won’t go far. I have a friend who will take care of him.”
“Cunning as always, Master.”
“Let me go, you monsters!” the fox cried.
“Oh, don’t you worry, little fox. You will be joining with your friend soon enough…” grinned Chocolate.

The mouse managed to escape the castle, but he couldn’t find a way out of the forest in the middle of the cold night. And the flickering souls around him are whispering, moaning, and some are cackling at the mouse like they were mocking him. It is cold, dark, and gloomy, and the red moon above the sky is shining across the black sky. And he tried to follow the aid of the spirits’ directions this time, but they seemed to lead him deeper and deeper into the woods.
“Heeeeeeeelp!”
The little one called for help across the woods as he kept on running for his life, but of course, nobody heard his cries. He hopes to reach the village before the cat catches him again.
It seems like the little lost mouse has been wandering alone in the woods for hours. He pleaded and cried and confessing all of his sins.
“I wanna get outta here, now! If anyone can hear me, I’m sorry that I’ve been a bad mouse! I didn’t mean to do all of those horrible pranks! Just please get me outta here!”
Suddenly… everything around him went silent. The flickering souls can only watch the mouse alone. And then… the little one heard a hissing across the woods. No… The hissing came from the left… and then the right… A deep and a sly voice came from above a large dead tree…
A big, looming cat clung to the tree with its coils… But it wasn’t the vampire cat from the castle. It snagged Oreo with its coil by the ankle and lifted him close upside-down… Half of his body… like a snake, and the upper part of his body a cat.
“Well, well,” hissed the catsnake as he flickered his forked tongue from his lips. “What do we have here? It’ssss been a long time sssince I have visitorssss in my forest.”
Catsnake… Even a creature I haven’t seen before. A cat that is half cat and half snake. This one has ginger fur, sharp eyes, short hair (only he has a short ponytail), and white fur on his face down to his lower body… The lower part is all thick, long, scaly, green, and enormous coils wrapping the little mouse by the ankle. The catsnake flickered his tongue from his lips and giggled like a child. The mouse struggled as he stared right into the cat.
“Hello, dear,” said the catsnake. “I was gonna go look for ssssomething else, but I wasn’t expecting an adorable moussse like you. How could Chocolate pass such a cute little one like you?”
The tip of his tail flings Oreo in the air, and he slides down the coils and wraps around again.
“P-Pleease,” Oreo pleaded.
“Pleassse?” the catsnake cooed.
“Aww, don’t worry little one. I’m not going to hurt you. You’re just the cutest little thing I could… gulp you up.”
The catsnake’s coils grip a little tighter around the mouse from the legs, body, and shoulders.
“Oh, I’m sorry for not introducing myself properly to my little guest. My coilssss usually do all of the talking for me. My name is… Mango.”
Mango giggled once again and flickered his forked tongue at the helpless, struggling, mouse… The coils are getting tighter, and they’re knocking Oreo’s breath out of him. The ginger-coloured catsnake hissed and purred at the little helpless mouse. The ginger catsnake leaned forward and gave him a lick in the cheek while squeezing him with his strong, thick coils. The catsnake’s belly rumbled deeply, and his cheeks turned red.
“Oh dear. I guessss I got a little carried away from all that talk… I’m afraid for a cutie like you, I’ll have to eat you.”
Then the mouse was frantic from those words as his round ears twitched panically. He kept on pleading to be let go, but the coils were getting much tighter.
“Now, now… Even if I did let you go, you wouldn’t be able to find your way out. And another predator would get you. Now, I can’t allow that, can I?”
There’s nothing that the mouse can do now… It was dinnertime for the hungry catsnake as he leaned forward and opened up his jaws. All the mouse can do is… stare hypnotically at those pink, slimy jaws drawing closer to him…
______________________________________________
Later…
Everything went quiet at the castle, and Chocolate already swallowed the fox whole as he frantically squirmed under all of his belly pudge.
“Well, that could’ve gone better,” sighed Zoroark.
“That’s okay, they always end up like that anyway,” said Chocolate. “You’ve done a good job. I’m proud of you.”
“Thank you, Master. I do my very best for you.”
Then, Chocolate and Zoroark heard a hissing from behind the vampire catdragon’s dining chair. Chocolate rolled his eyes over as he perked his ears back.
“I know you are there, Mango. You can stop sneaking up from behind me like that.”
“Aww, you’re no fun,” Mango cooed as he slithered out of his hiding spot from behind. “I only jussst wanted to have a little fun.”
And from Mango, his belly is bulging too (most likely from Oreo). Both prey were whimpering and crying from within those cats’ tummies as they pushed and bulge out nicely.
“I musssst thank you for the moussse, Chocolate,” chuckled Mango as he patted his belly.
“Yeah, no problem,” sighed Chocolate. “I was gonna get Zoroark to fetch him, but I knew you were looking for one, so I decided to save you one.”
“Aww, you’re too kind,” hissed Mango. “You know… Maybe one day… You and I can get… a little clossser together.”
Zoroark raised an eyebrow, and Chocolate huffed as he turned his back.
“Hell no,” scoffed Chocolate. “I only agreed to be nice to a catsnake for one night. Besides, that was our only agreement.”
“Oh, don’t be ssssuch a sourpuss,” teased Mango. “I know we had an agreement. But like it or not, we’ll meet again. You know where to find me, dear.”
The catsnake winked at the catdragon as he slithered past him across the room and left with his long, thick coils behind. Chocolate and Zoroark both watched closely.
“What an interesting character,” said Zoroark.
“Indeed,” sighed Chocolate. “I’m sure we will meet again in the future.”
“Happy Halloween.”
Zoroark leaves the dining room for Chocolate to digest his last victim… He closed the double doors behind him.

It's not "Halloween" nor a horror story unless some stupid creatures get-got by the monster (and by their incompetence)!
Jokes aside, it's so freaking amazingly lovable to read, especially when it comes to not only seeing the return of the vampiric Dragon-Cat, Chocolate, but also seeing the long-awaited return of Jack (the Zoroark servant)! Your stories are always such a lovable sight to see here, and I'm stoked to seeing alot more of your lovably written tales in the future! Keep doing great, and I deeply Hope you Had a Happy Halloween!
