birdtober art 31/31 — gang-gang cockatoo
on the final day it's artist's choice. I knew I would choose this cockatoo from the very beginning and was waiting for this day. It's not because it's a particularly rare bird or that I'm overly fond of this species.
I was touched by one specific parrot I saw on TikTok. he can't fly; he's missing feathers on his tail and wings, but he lives a good life and alongside other birds, so I think and hope that he is happy in his own way. I'll send this picture to the bird's owner — to let them know how unique this little one is.
