Your ranking system is so very flawed, I almost pity you. To put AJ and Rarity above RD is madness, and Pinkie Pie quite clearly deserves more kudos to the point of being in the 2-3 range (Twilight's stance on the matter pending).
Fluttershy's position at the top, of course, is a matter not up for debate. But on that you at least agree ;)

Im sorry, but RDs behaviour during dragonshy was the least friend like, even though she did defend her honour as a filly I think that would be something AJ would do no problem. Hell even pinkie pie knew not to prank fluttershy when RD, who knew her since they were fillys, was all too eager to try. Comon, she is bombastic, but that can lead her to overlook things at times, 5th best pony because AJ is just too damn solid a girl to rank below RD's high-octane recklessness. D:

And I'll grant that RD has a headstrong attitude, but that that just adds to her charm. And she still had the good sense to part ways with Gilda after that pranking, and she'd known her from when she was a fillie as well. AJ is great and all, but too plain overall. Pinkie managed to break past the irritating stage of that sort of quirky character and achieve something that's actually intriguing and funny to follow, which is a massive achievement. Hence her status up near the top.

You know, there is one episode I never watched, fall weather friends... and well, rainbow dash is a big fat cheater, far much more than what AJ did. So her bull-headed arrogance leads her to do far worse than AJs stubbornness. Also, how can you find Applejacks southern charm plain? Maybe it's normal where you live, but that's just you taking it for granted.
