Here's a rather broody rendition of Zordan the dragon (now Z-RDN) from my WIP sequel to The Epsilon Project. This was commissioned from Merlin, who is still looking for work.
Through a complex series of events which would be spoilers, Zordan has survived the dragon purge of DMFA - kind of. His soul has been installed into a robotic chassis that Daryil built for fun.
Zordan isn't particularly happy about losing his magic, but is at the same time pragmatic enough to know that it beats the alternative (i.e. death).

Yes. One of the first things he does in the story is try to abuse this to crush Jakob by swiping at him so his safeguards kick in and he falls on top of him. But this is not because he expected it to work - more that he felt he had to try, to make sure his free will hadn't been compromised.
