Just a little 40th Anniversary Amiga animation (in the desc)
It took most of the year, but I finished it before the year was over.

Check it out before YouTube mangles it into unrecognizability!

Notice how with PCs or Apples, if they go on the blink people throw them out and go buy something else. But with classic retro computers like Amigas, C64s, and others, their fans go to great efforts to repair, restore, and preserve them.
Wonderful animation!

Funny part to me is... a GOOD part of that is how they were made. The Classics weren't built with surface-mount tech, so when something going "POP!" it's a relatively simple "De-solder, remove, replace, re-solder" fix. Now so much is just irreparable or prohibitively expensive to do that it's "economically better" to just dump and replace a whole unit. And that sucks so bad.
One of them sorta leaked they're working on an FPGA Amiga now, which will be backwards compatible as much as it can be, but it will probaly not be a recreation of an old Amiga, rather than become sort of an Amiga Next. With more hardware capabilities. And surely no disk drive.
This was fun to watch! Thanks for sharing! Using "Run with Us" in the end credits got me curious, and I found this excellent newer cover of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymRSKSIGirw .
