Oi buddies
I understand that in today's reality, it's more profitable to create art in AI than to hire an artist. But please support me so I can climb out of the bottom. Tell everyone I'm open to commissions.
Last month was the anniversary of my happy life in emigration, a fate dealt me a crushing blow. I was deported on false charges of participating in protests in Tbilisi. My appeal, "will be considered indefinitely" what in practice means that the Georgian authorities simply don't read this.... "I'm sorry, but you're even not a human being for our new government's system" - say lawyers, citing cases of foreigners, accused of involvement in activism on the territory of Georgia. Their attempts to challenge illegal deportation via court failed to achieve justice in 100% of cases regardless of the amounts spent on lawyers' services.
There are several reasons, including threats to my life, which makes returning to my homeland impossible.
Local human rights organizations are aware of what happened and are working on a visa to Europe for me. However, the wait for the entry permit will be between 6 and 18 months. I don't know how I'll survive this waiting period. The temporary country where I'm currently located (the name is withheld for security reasons) has rampant unemployment and no social support for refugees. No medical care for non-citizens who can't afford the overprice private clinics. Only the refugee camp, where I can be offered a mattress in a room with six strangers for two months (mostly war refugees with PTSD, and no any guarantee they won't steal my things)
Also, my dog is left in Tbilisi in the care of my friends, all my winter clothes are also there. For over a month now, I have been unable to find a way to earn here the ridiculously paltry sum of $200 for my pet's evacuation...
I can't believe that somewhere a person with talent, education, and a bunch of licenses to work in various fields ever may turn out to be unnecessary. I've always been afraid of getting stuck in a place where there aren't enough vacancies even at low-paying positions like cleaner
Before the deportation, I worked three jobs simultaneously: a weekend worker at a punk pub, a restorer of historic buildings, and a loader at a catering company for open-air fests & luxury hotel's events. I didn't have time for activism or social media art-accounts.
I earned above the average salary for country and rented a mansion with musicians from different countries.
Now, without me, my friends unsure they'll be able to pay the rent of our cozy International Punk Commune and are asking me to take my dog away to allow them move to non-pet-friendly cheap motel room. I used my last savings to rent a couch in the kitchen at a house of family who agreed to take me and my dog (when dog will arrive)
I really don't know how I'm going to pay for basic expenses and moving out of here. It looks like I'll have to beg from charities, it's a shame for a able to work person
