Rambri... You're sad and melancholic, longing for the old internet of small companies that simply sought to share knowledge in collective groups... Not the internet of today where you pay for everything just because the big internet companies are compulsively interested, bombarding you with ads and predatory clauses, updating your operating systems only to have your computers stop working...
...About half a year ago in Spain we suffered a power outage of more than 24 hours. What happened? Nothing. People took out their grandmother's battery-powered transistor radios, cooked on their alcohol stoves, and harmony and tranquility reigned in the streets. Young people raised their heads and talked amongst themselves, and drivers, without traffic lights, drove slowly and respectfully towards each other and pedestrians... At night, when the country was sleeping in absolute tranquility, the lights returned...
I've lived more than half my life without The internet, and I only connected for the first time in 1997... We don't lose anything if the internet goes down; nothing serious would happen except for large companies. In my country, cash is still widely used, and only young people use electronic payments...
We haven't progressed; we've stagnated and regressed. It's all lies and deception, creating needs we don't have. But that could end at any moment...
Be happy like a child, play the acoustic guitar; you don't need to plug anything into it... Or walk a dog; you don't need to plug them in.
Yes, the world is crazy, but this will end sooner rather than later... Time will tell.
