"Words fall short to explain what happened during our stay. If I told you that I understood the meaning of love, I’d be claiming the impossible. But experience love I did. If I told you that I understood the meaning of life, I’d be lying. The meaning of life is not for a mortal to know. But I learned how to live my life. I had made many friends along the way, and I believed myself blessed with the many faces and voices that I had seen on my journey. But I now experienced friendship for the first time. I realized how empty, how hollow I had become along the way. I found the world, and I had lost myself. The day I had this realization, that one day, that fateful day, I sat in the gardens with Snow. Snow always knew what I was thinking. And he must’ve known that day. And he poked me with his nose, he looked into my eyes, and he smiled, bared his teeth, his tiny little fangs and whispered: “You’re it”."
