On Christmas Day, Remy woke up and rushed downstairs into the living room. His parents were already there waiting for him.



"Merry Christmas!" they cried.



There were many presents sitting under the tree. Remy couldn't decide which to open first. So he started with the smallest and worked his way up.



One of the largest gifts was from his uncle. He unwrapped it and pulled out a large green sweater. It featured a moose with sunglasses that said "Moose Wonderful Time!"



It also had a large bow tie with a bell attached. Remy cringed. It was the ugliest sweater he had ever seen.



"Oh," his mother said, "how nice!"



"Try it on," said his father.



Remy looked at his parents in disbelief. They actually wanted to see him in this ugly thing?



"Well, go on," said his father.



But Remy hesitated. "Uh, maybe later."



"Right now," snapped his mother. "Your uncle bought that for you, and we want to see."



Realizing it was futile, Remy sighed and put on the sweater.



His parents laughed with glee. "Oh, you look adorable!" cried Mrs. Fox.



"Hang on," said Mr. Fox. "I'll get the camera.



"What?" said Remy. "Dad, no."



"It will just be a quick one, alright?"



They set the camera on a stand and took the family snapshot.



While his parents laughed with joy, Remy only turned red with humiliation.



"Okay," said Mr. Fox, "you want to take it off? Go right ahead."



Remy yanked the sweater off faster than a train on rush hour.



"But be sure to put it back on for your uncle, in case he ever shows up." said Mrs. Fox.



"I will," Remy muttered quietly.



After that embarrassing bit, Remy went back to opening his other gifts. He received several other gifts that he thought were much better. Good books, CD's and toys. It was a Christmas he wouldn't forget any time soon.
