Was compelled to make up an AU turn of events in Frontier; During the episode where the gang run into a second group of kids that have been in the digital world as long as them; two of which are Tomoki/Tommy's bullies, sort of triggering his old timid self. These digimon-less kids don't wanna leave the digital world (I mean, can you blame them!?) So one of the bullies, Teppei, corners Tommy alone suggesting HE should be the one to go home, afterall he's a crybaby softboi, ect...
So the divergence would be here, Teppei would shove him around until the D-tector falls into plain sight, Teppei picks it up and for some reason it spirit evolves him, creating this distorted version of Chakmon. Now Tommy is powerless as this new rude Ice Warrior flaunts his power and rubs it in his face that now HE HAS to leave. Afterall, this is to protect the weak.

I very rarely make characters/scenerios this mean cuz I just feel bad, but it was necessary in this case. Who knows! Perhaps a follow up is in the works of Tommy getting back at this jerk... (also I considered writing up an entire fic to go with this instead of just a long description, but I wanted to get this posted before the year rolls over.)
