This picture drifted back up into my life after years of being lost in storage on an old USB flashdrive. It hit me like a ton of bricks, and was drawn during one of the most profound and yet fuzzy parts of my life. The more I examined it, the more I was able to find out about who I was back then... who I am now. Even today I find the occasional detail in there that shocks me with the accuracy it has in reflecting pieces of me. It feels like someone else's art when I see how much I put into it that I didn't even know I had the ability to do.
