This took me quite a while @__@ It was a challenge but I had a lot of fun with it. Horses and paintery backgrounds are fun to draw C:!

Oh my goodness! You have done a lot of really gorgeous, outstanding, amazing pieces, but... I think that this might be the most overwhelmingly beautiful thing I have seen by you! How on Earth can you even draw something this immensely beautiful? This is stunning. Wow, the detail of the landscape is so incredibly beautiful, as are the horses, the dragons and the entire scene.
This is nothing but a masterpiece!
This is nothing but a masterpiece!
So I've been having the most ridiculous day... then I opened this up...
...and I started crying.
This is such a gorgeous piece, thank you so much Maq. It captures the beauty of the Appalachian mountains that I call home. The references I gave you were photos taken this past summer, and despite how cold and bitter it is out right now, looking at this scene makes me feel like I'm re-living those lovely last days of summer while everything was still lush and green. My mate had never even been on a horse before this past summer, so the entire process was foreign to him but he took to it well. The scenery breaks we took on our ride were such peaceful, memorable moments, and this piece is nothing short of a photograph out of my actual life, a Kodak moment if you will. You've drawn everything so accurately, the lighting is fantastic, and the characters look great. I'm sure if Silver and Blackjack could see this piece, they'd be impressed with themselves ^_^ And before long, I'll have this piece hanging on my living room wall.
Thank you again Maq, rest assured you will be hearing from me again.
