"My last day on earth was a happy one... though it wasn't especially long."
IT’S DONE. I think it took around 33 hours total, of like… solid hand-cramping, wrist-straining, eye-burning work. I wanted to move the characters back further into the scene but Sai wasn’t having it at all. OOPS.
FINALLY THOUGH, some personal art of personal characters that is recent and complete and lovely. I feel like I should be celebrating or something. I’m also writing the novel/graphic novel that these guys are from. I don’t know how long it will take me, but I aim to have it published when it’s done, IF IT IS WORTH PUBLISHING AND I STILL LIKE IT. Ahaha This story is my ugly baby.
Uploading detail shots to my scraps because the full res is huge and I have to upload a waaay downsized version for palatable viewing. I’m making the full res available as a poster on DA for anyone who wants one. I KNOW I DO.

Well, the tall one here is actually being shown uncharacteristically happy and calm(they both are, actually). I drew this to show one of their very few happy moments, the moment before a very critical plot point in their story. c:
Normally, the tall one is very scared(and naturally gangly but not scrawny), he's nervous, paranoid, neurotic, obsessive, non-confrontational but honest. The short one is a mute character, but he's generally spontaneous, violent, angry, reclusive... Neither of them are out of character here, but it's not their usual thing. :P
