Yeah so wondering.....who is keen to read a book by an author whose break out "memoir" turned out to be made up? Not me. Sorry James Frey, I liked your "memoir" but you have lost all credibility . Shocked you found a publisher. Does no one else feel this way?

Not everything in his memoir was made up, and every memoir published has been embellished to some extent. Elie Wiesel embellished some of Night, which is arguably the most popular memoir every published, and yet no one seemed to care to the extent they did with this. If you don't want to read the book, by all means then don't, but this petty bullshit needing to prove to yourself and everyone else that you're "superior" for whatever mundane made up reason is a bit much. Life will be so much less exhausting if you simply ignore the books you don't like rather than waste time with this nonsense.

Oh and P.S: he has a small publishing company within one of the Big 5, so it's not hard for him to find a publisher, might want to get used to him.(less)

Did anyone edit this book? There are several glaring grammatical errors in the first 75 pages. I don't know how they could have been missed.

Does it improve in the second half ? Big fan of Frey's previous books...but this is not doing it for me at all..I've stalled halfway and will quit unless someone tells me something changes in the second half ...anyone ?
