This second volume used to be called - The Girl With Green Eyes - I wonder why it was changed?
We saw this trilogy exactly the same. First book was great, second was okay, and third I barely pushed through.
I found the third volume the most moving, because it was - if I can remember accurately - about her divorce and then the loss of her child due to Eugene's manipulative strategies. It moved from the girl world of the earlier books to quite a tragic and powerful comment on the inequalities between men and women - specfiically in relation to marriage in 1960s, Ireland.
I've also added this comment as a way to check on Notification delivery - I suspect Suzy - like many - are not getting any notification of comments.
