What a super concept. Happy you enjoyed, Rosh 💛🫶🏼
Sometimes being a bit vague can indeed help. Readers can interpret it the way they want and see their own situation represented in the story. Good point about how boys could learn and appreciate this story too, so child might have been better in that regard. I wonder what made the gaslighting scene stand out so much for you. Great review, Rosh.

Thanks, Brooke! It's a good way of motivating little girls onward.

Totally agree with that! Having a specific cause-effect can restrict a book's applicability. I like the vagueness of this. But yes, I wish it had spoken to all children. To be honest, I've read many books addressing girls but hardly any addressing boys. We need to train them too at a young age so that they grow up to be caring and responsible young men rather than entitled humans.
Well, since it's towards the end of the book, I don't want to reveal the line. But suffice it to say, it's something women constantly hear when they navigate something tricky.
Thanks, Thibault.

Thanks so much, Tina, Angela, and Shelley! It's really a lovely book. 💖
Great review Rosh! Its nice this book could have worked for both gender, I agree the author would probably get a larger audience if she used child instead of girls. Thank you for sharing your review with us! 🙌🏾
Rosh...Excellent review! I like the flexibility the book provided. I agree with your assessment that kiddos, both girls and boys, could benefit from the message conveyed.🤗💕
Beautiful review. I really love how detailed and complex yours are. Thank you so much for writing them the way you do. ♥
Wonderful review, Rosh. 💖 I like the cover, so the inside illustrations must be as good or even better! This is exactly the kind of book that should be vague to fit various contexts but also inspire and encourage little readers. Sounds like it does the job!
