Fostering

[close] This is a group for anyone that has to do with fostering, from Foster parents, to foster children, and biokids, even kids who have been adopted, and adopting parents. The world of Fostering can be difficult, but Fostering is so that people can have the love that they deserve. This Group is about anything from reading and having fun, to discussing things foster-related. I am a biokid of a group home that takes many special-needs kids as well as the occasional kid with diciplinary issues. I know that though our families usually try to make the family setting as "normal" as possible, we are not always counted in the same groups as the rest. Here, we are all part of the same group.

[close] A book group for friends of Lisa Qualls, writer of One Thankful Mom. We read and discuss books relevant to parenting children from hard places.

[close] Do you have a child who has learning or behavior issues? So do we! We are a group of parents who are passionate about helping our child/ren overcome their challenges. But let’s face it, parenting them can be tough and we need an outlet to handle the stress and build us up. Our book club is hosted by Quirky Kids and brain health and behavior coach, Marisa Rodriguez and many of the parents in the Quirky Kids community.
