The pacing is steady, and the storyline flows smoothly, keeping me engaged without ever feeling rushed or dragged.
So, it’s a no-brainer! This series deserves a full five stars. From the very first book to the last, it delivers a wonderful reading experience filled with action, rich world-building, and characters who each have distinct personalities. ❤️

I cannot say enough how much I love Arrow’s adventure. We have seen her grow so much over the past four books, and I am eager to discover what awaits her in the final instalment. So far, the series has taken us through every territory mentioned in the story.
Perhaps we will see positive changes in Taellan and on the human side. The Shifkin appear to be in good hands, and the Erith still owe Arrow the recognition she deserves and a chance at a happily ever after. ...more

Although Arrow is an exile, her service is still highly sought by those who valued her in Taellaneth.
However, the Taellan still show her little respect and causes problems, which makes it harder for her to carry out the tasks of finding the missing Erith and catching the killer on the loose. The latter task comes as a direct request from the Queen.
In the Heartlands, we also learn more about her lineage, including her birth name. Meanwhile, love remains a low priority in Vanessa’s book. After the near absence of romantic elements in books one and two, book three attempts to explore that theme.
However, readers who are looking for a full romance will be disappointed because it appears only briefly in chapter one and again in the final chapter.
Anyway, I cannot wait to see what awaits Arrow. Before I finish this ramble, one detail still nags at me. Since she is busy with an ongoing project for the Shifkin, it seems odd that she did not at least tell them she would be away to help the Erith. Just saying. ...more

As expected, it is full of action like the first book, but this time the world expands beyond Taellaneth and Shifkin territory, and we also explore the human side. As the title implies, some long-held secrets are finally revealed.
That said, I am honestly a little nervous about reading the next book, especially with the title: Betrayed. I hate seeing Arrow suffer even more. She barely gets to enjoy the small luxuries she deserves. ...more

However, this time we gain a complete understanding of what truly transpired, including the details about the blood-stained phone that Rhodelia discovered, as well as further explanation of the elevator incident.
I noticed there were some incorrect uses of he/she in the narrative, as well as a typo where 'food' was mistakenly written as 'foot.' I had to read it twice to ensure I understood it correctly ...more

Each bachelor is now down to their final two possibilities, but from the outset, it’s obvious who their ideal partners are, leaving little space for unexpected twists.
However, if I had the opportunity to change anything, I would prefer to see Deacon be matched with the other female characters, as their connection as shapeshifters makes them a more compatible match. Plus, she has a lovely personality!
Reading the final instalment of the story set in the World of Azar feels surreal. There's a bittersweet feeling since I have spent four months immersed in this universe. Now, as I prepare to say farewell, I feel reluctant to let go.
Having immersed myself in the journeys of so many characters and watching them overcome obstacles to attain happiness has been incredibly enjoyable. I hope my next book's adventure is as exhilarating as this one!
Thank you, G.K. DeRosa, for your outstanding writing and for bringing the enchanting World of Azar to life. If you decide to return with more tales from this universe, I hope you will include the Ocean Realm, as we haven't had any stories set there yet. Additionally, I would be thrilled to read about Astra and Thane's little Chaos, and the other powerful hybrid children!...more

The situation grows more intriguing as the show nears the end with tensions rising around them.
Secrets are emerging, hearts are laid bare, and it almost appears that the selection of the bachelorettes is a foregone conclusion—unless, of course, it is not, especially with the latest addition to the contestant.
No matter what comes next, I wish for Deacon and Slade to discover the happiness they rightfully deserve. They are delightful characters, and I have always enjoyed reading the banter between them. Their journey of friendship has been entertaining, and I'm happy to see that they have each other's back now.
One last thing, I feel like I'm missing some key details. When and how did the phrase "Tiger Tool" come about? ...more

This time the reality show includes two bachelors with 12 bachelorettes to choose from. Deacon and Slade are the stars of the show, the previously eliminated bachelors from the first season are back for some fun and perhaps love.
I’m interested to see how this unfolds. What if both of them have feelings for the same bachelorette? What other challenges will arise this time? It's too soon to predict who will be paired with whom, but I have a general idea.
Each of the 12 bachelorettes has a distinct personality, some slutty than the others even I cannot wait to get rid of. Now we're down to eight bachelorettes, I can't wait to learn more about their background stories, particularly Harper, Everly, Chance and even the stylish, Dawn. As for Rose, I'm fairly certain her parents are Kimmie-Jayne and Fenix. I do recall them having a baby girl named Rose Ashley ...more

This time, the pack led by Nova embarks on an adventurous journey to Stella-Astrum, also known as Heaven, to locate the King's body. I am also delighted for Malia to finally find her mate.
However, the climax falls short of my expectations! I must admit, I was a bit disappointed by the ease with which everything was resolved. After all, there is not much excitement in a battle that ends with a simple snap of the neck.
Another disappointment for me was the absence of any mention of Nova and Roman forming the mate bond and the absence of a wedding for all the couples. The epilogue was a letdown for the shifters, but the same cannot be said for the Demon Wolves. I was overjoyed when Nova forged an unbreakable bond with them.
I highly recommend delving into the Demon Pack series for a truly unforgettable journey through the three realms. Not only will you witness the strong bond between the pack members, but you will also experience their profound love for one another. This series beautifully captures emotions, from pure joy to hope and deep despair, making it a must-read for all.

In contrast to the first book, I found this one more enjoyable due to its uncharted terrain, various obstacles and the shocking twist.
In the romance department, the bond is thriving between Nova and Roman, but sadly, there has been no significant advancement for her two sisters. It seems like the initial instalment is focused on Taniya meeting her other half, while the sequel is centred on Nova, and Malia's love story will unfold in the upcoming book.
Lastly, it's about the killer cliffhanger. Get book three ready because you will be compelled to jump right into the next instalment as soon as you have reached the end of book two. I did that and was unable to put the book down until I had devoured more than 60% of its contents...more

When a formidable opponent looms over the community, Nova's pack joins forces with the Eagle shifter and Roman to overcome the threat. As I delved deeper into the story, I couldn't help but wonder about the identity of the protagonist's father and the enigmatic figure, Roman, whose presence sparked endless speculation in my mind.
The story progression thus far has captured my interest, and I cannot wait to read the second book, which I believe will offer an even more thrilling adventure into the unfamiliar realm.
These are my expectations for the next book: I hope that Nova will eventually acquire the ability to communicate with her demon wolves. As for matters of the heart, I envision a blossoming romance between Nova and Roman, Taniya and Dastian, and for Malia to find her true love. Finger crossed!...more

Though I love The story ended on a satisfying note, with all the questions I had in mind being answered, and the things I wished to happen came true. Though I love the action parts of the story, the emotional parts were just as good. I like the way the characters showed such devotion to one another and stuck together through thick and thin.
The plot was solid, and the characters were all unique and exciting. I was particularly moved by the way the characters dealt with their struggles and hardships and how they ultimately found a way to keep going and remain hopeful.

Do not speculate in this Shadow Angel story because it's full of twists and turns! The last statement by Apollyon proves this to be true. I didn't expect that at all.

It has mystery vibes that keep me guessing throughout the story until I get the answer, and it also has angels and demons fighting in action, a visit to hell, hurtful truth and a heartbreaking love story!
I have a love-hate relationship with the heroine, Tatum. I like her being bold, but some of her actions of acting first and thinking later drive me mad. She should be mature with all the responsibility she shouldered at the tender age, caring for her grandmother. I wish to see her grow up soon!
The ending is a major cliffhanger that leaves me wanting more, and I cannot wait to jump into the next one immediately!...more

There is more information to digest at the end, my head is still swimming with it, and it feels like the author rushed it without a proper closing.
My preference is a soft landing, wishing it's a tad bit longer so that I don't feel like being hit by a full-speed train that stopped abruptly. A prologue is much welcome to soften the blow! For that, I gave one star lesser than the previous two books. Overall, it's 4.5 Stars series! Still, it's not a bad score at all.

The three books earlier concentrate more on lab-engineered creations. This time, it's more to the supernatural side, involving a mage, demons, a hellhound, and a dark lord. Definitely a page-turner.

It's why I keep reading the series, even though I'm not keen on the reverse harem genre. But I'm determined to finish all the series she wrote, and I just have to put up with all the sex scenes, which in this book, there're plenty! For instance, it didn't stop Quinn, even with her failing heart!
Anyway, the conclusion is alright, but it could be better with more extended fighting scenes, dramas, twists, etc. because I couldn't get enough of it in this book. The joint forces between the previous series' characters and this one made me think that perhaps we will get to see Sorsha and Quinn in the Shadowblood Souls series?...more
