4.5 stars plus extra credit for a wonderful dedication.

I have to admit that I was nervous reading this. I'd be reviewing a story for a friend, and what would I say if I didn't like it? (I'm super happy and relieved to report that I loved it.) It was exactly what I needed after a really crappy week - it was light, sexy, fierce, and fabulous.

Niall narrates this story in the first person POV, and he's a flamboyant diva with a great sense of humor. He loves his man, he loves his woman's panties, and he loves his shoes. (Here's where I admit I may have licked the prompt picture a time or two). He's confident but vulnerable, and has a wonderfully big heart when it comes to Dan. Dan, the big, tough, police officer, who is a teddy bear on the inside. He's the definition of love in this story. He's protective, encouraging, supportive, and just so sweet that I finished this story wanting more, more, more! of him. That's the downside of first person POV narration sometimes, I missed knowing more about Dan and being in his head.

This was very well written with two very distinct characters. It was fluffy and entertaining, cute and sexy, and all around it made me smile. It's written with - (hyphens) and ! (examination marks) that may bother some, but really worked for me in this story. The bad guy conflict was easy to seem coming, but worked for this story as Niall isn't really the common sense kind of guy, and it helped bring about some much needed talk between the two MCs. I loved the writing style and I think that this writing team work very well together. I look forward to seeing what they put out in the future.

Highly recommended to anyone looking for a light, fun, entertaining, or fabulous read.
My thanks to the author for their time and participation in the loves landscapes event. (And Al - super proud of you hun.)
