really liked it

** spoiler alert ** I honestly cried after it ended. It's been such a long journey starting with Vampire Academy (I do like Bloodlines much more though) and now it's over. This book was a pretty good red but not my favurite in the series because of the many reasons.
1. There re so many questions I still have - about Declan mainly so I'm really hoping for more books hopefully centered on Declan.
2. The whole Olive/Nina plot felt like a new story in itself and feels like an awkward loose end that the author has somehow tried to wrap up.
3. The way Sydney blackmails the Alchemist was just wrong and I wanted more from her to show how the Vampire/Human bonds have evolved in general.
4. The dead end about the Strigoi vaccine.

Things I really liked were:
1. The plot with Alicia, the Warriors and Jill. It was unexpected and fresh.
2. The happy ending for Sydrian.

This book probably deserved 3 stars but I gave it 4 because it was fun to read and it is a part of the Bloodlines series which I love so much.
