Update: Ok, here's the thing....this was a really great series. Reminded me a lot of Ilona Andrews writing style. The romance was a slow burn...they were attracted and their were feelers but issues kept them apart longer than necessary but HOT DAMN when it happened it was amazeballs. But it was too quick. I prefer more details in my smut, especially with how long it took for them to finally get to it. It actually detracted from the story a bit because I was just as frustrated as they were and it was starting to get to me. Really.

The heroine is bitchy, snarky, neurotic, fearless to the point of idiocy, ballsy, annoying, immature and emotional stunted. I liked her IMMENSELY. The hero was a egotistical, bossy bastard!! I luuuurved him!

The world of Alchemy is fresh and new, it was definitely something I've never read though again their are similarities between this and KD. But the ending was completely thrown together. She saved the day and the next page the book ended and you're left wondering wtf just happened. There was no closure, no real resolution and you're left with more questions than answers. I found it very unsatisfying and pissed off. I LOVED this series and the author ruined it for me it 2 short pages. I will try her other (Karma) series because I really liked her style of writing and the way she brings her characters to life. However, if she ends that one like this I may have to send her a strongly worded tweet. Strongly worded, I say!!!

Well, that was a HUGE let down to a really amazing series. Gotta love a quickly thrown together ending. (No, no I don't) Review to follow once I can wrap my brain around that pile of fuckery.

Shadia Jack I totally agree. I feel like the end is incomplete and I've reread the series twice over. The time the heros spent together was paltry compared to the time spent bickering. I suggest you give us some closure Ms. Donna A. A glimpse of the the future of the Keepers. That would go a long way. Thanks

Diana I feel the same, after the way the whole series was written the ending feeling just thrown together like the author didn't know how to end it.
