I think it’s only right that if we got a book for each of the Wright brothers—Jensen (The Wright Brother), Landon (The Wright Boss), and Austin (The Wright Mistake)—that we get that of the ladies’ too. Because Morgan? She certainly didn’t let me down. This tale just highlighted and magnified her inner strength and beauty like no other. She did what she does best and took on life and all of its aspects—may it be family, career or love—by storm. She was a whirlwind of power and a bundle of confidence. A strong, independent heroine whose passion and dedication just flowed through her veins. A woman we’ve seen glimpses of with how huge her balls truly were even before she took on the role of being Wright Construction’s newest CEO. Once she’s got her eyes on the prize, she did all that she could to win it over—not letting anything stop her. It was absolutely nothing short of admirable.

And don’t even get me started with how perfectly well Patrick Young was able to handle and deal with a woman like Morgan. I still find it somewhat hilarious that he was completely oblivious with Morgan’s crush on him since they were teenagers, but he continuously made my heart flutter and soar all throughout the book. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t easy at all; it was definitely more than a challenge to go for someone as tough and brilliant as Mini Wright. It could’ve intimidated or even threatened Patrick’s manhood, but it didn’t. Once he truly opened his eyes and saw the woman he’s known for so long in a different light and realized how in deep he really was for her? He just owned it. He owned it and fought for it. For them. And that’s exactly the kind of man who’d perfectly fit and deserve to stand beside a beautiful woman—inside and out—like Morgan Wright.

The Wright Secret was just the story that I needed and longed for for Morgan and Patrick. It was such a riveting friends to lovers romance that will make you heave a huge happy sigh when you reach that last page. I just loved how that special friendship between them grew and developed into something more. With these two, if you’ve read the previous Wright books, you would’ve already witnessed how well they worked together—as colleagues, as friends, as family. No matter how different they were, they just clicked. That dynamic they have was utterly and uniquely theirs. And seeing that kind of foundation bloom into something brighter and more iridescent certainly made me giddy down to my toes.

Now that we have Mini Wright’s much awaited happily ever after with the guy she’s been crushing on and lusting for for the longest time, I’m excited out of my mind to have Sutton’s story in my hands as well. And what do you know, K.A. Linde has blessed us with not one, but two books for the last Wright sibling we’re dying to know more about. Because honestly, after everything that happened since The Wright Mistake, Sutton is the one who deserves a happily ever after that’s out of this world. She deserves a love that’s on blazing fire. So we’ll definitely be seeing so much more of David and her cute baby boy, Jason, in The Wright Love Duet, and I couldn’t. Be. Happier.
