It’s rare that I can sit and finish a book in one day..... and I was lucky enough to do that with The Wife. From the first sentence “In an instant, I became the woman they assumed I’d been all along: the wife who lied to protect her husband,” I was sucked into this domestic thriller.

Angela and Jason Powell seem to have the perfect marriage until allegations are levied against him. Suddenly Angela is forced to decide if she defends her husband and stands by him, even if it means secrets from her past could come out. Alafair Burke has written a brilliant book complete with twists, turns and an ending that I didn’t see coming.

If you’re looking for an unpredictable thriller with a hint of mystery, then The Wife is for you!
