This is a long time favorite of mine. I first read it when I was about 10 and I still love it. The movie adaptation was a travesty I don’t like to talk about.

I read this the first time this year and it was super cute! Definitely its own story while feeling like a fairy tale. (Saw the movie as a kid, so it didn't taint my experience with reading it now as an adult. Not worth comparing lol)
