it was amazing

This is a heart-breaking account of what it is like to be anorexic and living through the different stages of painful recovery in hospital. The author portrays the dilemma between the addictive feeling of wanting to 'fade away' and the agony of 'starting to feel yourself again' poignantly. It's a short read but dense and it did take me a while to get through because it is so real and emotionally wrenching.
