A pretty quick read, in my opinion. The illustrations are dark and well done, and the edges of certain pages are decorated with imprints of leaves and needles of trees; scratching and engravings; simple shading of an area or doodle-ish pictures.
It was a little anti-climactic at the end, I will admit. It felt.. I don't know, just building up to rage and hate and self-denial and then.. Puffft! The volcano just let out a pathetic plume of smoke when it should've erupted... It did erupt, but the eruption was overestimated by me, and that left me unsatisfied. But that's just MY opinion. Read it yourself and enjoy. I did give it 4 stars afterall..
