Pather Dabi: The Right of Way

Outstanding and brave narration which challenged the orthodox society to change their mindset in the righteous way. This book will give the readers an idea about the liberating, modern and brave mindset of Sharat Chandra, who was clearly ahead of his contemporary generation. No wonder the book was banned, even Rabindranath was afraid to endorse it, in fact he rather criticized the book in favor of the British, but Sharat Chandra stood his ground fearlessly. It proves how strong and righteous his ethics and values were.
The storytelling was so fluid and dynamic, and the ending was truly epic! This book will stand the test of time, and I wish people will read it even after 500 years or more.
