A death march to finish this book. Yes it's a classic. Yes the story is not what Hollywood turned it into. Yes the language is archaic... oh painfully archaic. Shall we sedulously purloin some viands for our maintenance? Perhaps if I read more literature from the early 1800's I would have been able to keep my eyes focused on the pages, but alas....
