it was ok

This book was horribly boring and I question why Brennan-Jobs story is one that needed to be memorialized, other than for the fact her father is Steve Jobs and that he was a bit of an asshole. Do not get the hype at all.

Louise VdB I agree so much with your review! I am at half of the book and it is so repetitive, the anecdotes are often boring and if the dad was not Steve Jobs, the book would never have been published

Stephanie Marie Completely agree! I stuck with this book begrudgingly and hoping it would get better. While descriptive, it was repetitive and just seemed to keep reinforcing the one theme, that Steve Jobs was an insufferable jerk. Had this book not been about a famous tycoon, I doubt it would have been viewed as interesting.

Alexis I’m so glad I’m not alone in my opinion of this book. It seemed better when I read the synopsis, but the actual book is awful!

Ryan Looks like y’all didn’t get it. But feel free to keep shouting into the echo chamber.
