“The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool.”
Another very enjoyable and entertaining play by The Bard.
“All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages.”
Also another very influential work as it is apparent how many romantic comedies over the years have borrowed liberally from this classic tale.
“Do you not know I am a woman? when I think, I must speak.”
Rosalind is also probably the blueprint of countless strong heroines over the years.
“I would rather have a fool to make me merry than experience to make me sad. And to travel for it too!”
