really liked it

I was very conflicted about whether to give this book four or five stars. James Frey writing is brilliant and powerful at times. His writing is very emotional and that's a good thing to me.

Largely this book about a middle aged man looking back on his youthful twenties and a love affair. He reflections on Paris, art and Literature are interesting. At times the book feels to long and too self indulgent.

Though still worth reading if you are thinking person. Recommended.
